These are the monofocal Toric lens in January 2007, the Aspheric Toric lens in July 2010 and the Multifocal Toric lens in September 2010. First in the world to implant a new low-powered Toric Multifocal lens model with the precision to reduce pre-existing astigmatism as low as 0.50 dioptres coupled with the potential to provide total spectacle freedom to patients for both distance and near vision.

One of the pioneers in Malaysia for sutureless, small incision cataract surgery performed under topical anaesthesia (no injection) and sutureless conjunctival grafting in pterygium surgery, as well as the implantation of single-piece multifocal intraocular lenses which allows patients to be free from spectacles for both distance and near vision.

On the teaching faculty in cataract surgery courses conducted in meetings of the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and Asia Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (APACRS) as well as Ministry of Health workshops. Invited on a regular basis by industry partners, to speak on Toric lens implantation and other aspects of advanced cataract surgery.
