Paediatric Surgery

The surgery of foetuses, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults is a subspecialty of surgery called paediatric surgery.  Many of these operations are done on congenital anomalies which involves abdominal organs. Further evolution of paediatric surgery includes:

·         Foetal surgery

Surgeryto treat birth defects in foetuses that are still in the pregnant uterus.
